About Wikis

A Wiki is a program that allows one to make publically editable documents. The idea and implementation of the wiki was first brought about by Ward Cunningham in 1995. Many different Wiki implementations exist and many websites use them. The BLUG website uses [MediaWiki], which is the same software that [Wikipedia] uses.
