Synopsis

Backups: Group discussion - This meeting will have a slightly different format. The floor will be open to discussion about backing up your Linux system, whether it involve tapes, discs, USB flash drives, floppies, client/server architecture or whatever.

If its about backing up data, its open for discussion.

Post meeting summary

It was raining all afternoon and evening and I think that stopped some people from attending.

We talked about the ways in which each of us backs up our computers, servers or whatever. We spend some time talking about using USB pen drives and problems with SCSI device detection under Linux as well as dealing with backing up large files such as large video and audio files.
